The Chicago Sigma Pi Alumni Association has finally arrived. We are your Chicago stop to alumni events with a focus on fun, career bridge building, philanthropy, chapter support and reminiscing of the good old days.
Why?
Chicago Sigma Pi is an alumni association which aims to service Sigma Pi Fraternity alumni with a connection to Chicago. Chicago Sigma Pi can be more effective by maximizing our pool of potential members. If you're a Sigma Pi who lives in Chicago now, or once did, we are here to serve you. Our goal is to offer our alumni an opportunity to connect on multiple levels, with every new member comes an opportunity to add more value.
Furthermore, we'd like to act as a support structure to chapters where we can make a positive impact. Our efforts to serve chapters will help insulate current actives from the hostile environments under which fraternities currently operate. Many of us owe, directly or indirectly, successes in life to Sigma Pi. To protect that right for the future generation is to revere the first ideal of Sigma Pi, to establish a brotherhood.
Who?
Chicago Sigma Pi has the capacity to offer programming that suits all alumni. Our primary focus is to engineer events that you find relevant and fun. In our infancy we'd like to offer four annual events; however, demand will dictate the pace at which we grow. Programming offered will be useful-there's no sense gathering if we don't achieve a goal, whether that's having fun or networking.
How?
We can offer our alumni relevant and fun opportunities to interact via your support. Well executed planning and organization can only take our events so far; we need your commitment and support to make our events successful. Your input, critique, insight, and most importantly, your sense of pride in our fraternity will make this association a success.
